A new big project in the Netherlands, will be carried out, initiated by the Stichting Film in Concert.

Stichting Waterland Producties produceert een verscheidenheid aan muzikale, multidisciplinaire. meestal internationale projecten rond het werk en de initiatieven van componist/ pianist Loek Dikker.
Nieuwe werk voor big band in première
Op zondagavond 8 juni aanstaande gaat tijdens het Holland Festival in het Bimhuis mijn nieuwe werk voor big band in première, uit te voeren door de splinternieuwe big band van
rietblazer en multi-instrumentalist David Kweksilber.
Componeren in z’n achteruit?
De Tweede Weense School (Schönberg en de zijnen) gooide rond de Eerste Wereldoorlog alles overboord dat leek op muzikale inhoud. Weg met symphonische Dichtungen, landsschapsbeschrijvingen, zieleroerselen en andere scenische thematiek.

Al onder de pannen op 5 december?
Wij wel, want wij treden dan op in het Bimhuis. Wij: dat zijn Leo van Oostrom, Pierre Courbois en Loek Dikker. Deze combinatie trad voor het eerst in 1977 in het Bimhuis op, toen dat podium nog maar kort bestond.

Were seen during the celebration of the 100 year anniversary of the Netherlands Institute in Rome (NIR). On October 21st 2004 “Diva Dolorosa”, a compilation of old film material by Peter Delpeut, was performed in the Sinopoli-room of the Auditorium.

Any dancing going on?
Certainly. On November 6th and 7th, the modern dance company RAZ, lead by Hans Tuerlings, performed the choreography “Zambracca” in the Teatro Vascello in Rome. “Zambracca” forms part of the cycle inspired by the villa of the poet d’Annuzio.
